In life we tend to desire things that we don't have and try to attain things beyond our means. We may look at others lives and feel that we want to have the same. We may try to become someone we are not as sometimes society pushes us in this direction. This creates a negative feeling in our beings and manifests itself as jealousy, anger and resentment. We forget that we should try our best to be grateful for the people and things that we already have. Human nature can cause us to lose sight of what really matters. When this happens we need to bring ourselves back to reality and start to focus on our current world. Our family, our friends, our health and our accomplishments. Let's start appreciating what is real in our life and let go of the unnecessary desires.
